I have discovered wooly adelgid on a hemlock tree on my property, and need help finding someone to help get rid of it.
I have tried contacting Windham County Forestor with no luck and was directed to your website.
Could you possibly guide me to someone who could treat my problem?
Thankyou for your time.

Hi Michael,
Wooly Adelgid is on the list of Vermont Invasives. This was the best fact sheet I could find. Read through it and see who you can contact in your area.

You could contact the Vermont Nursery and Landscape Association to look for an arborist or certified pesticide control company. We are not allowed to recommend individuals or businesses.

Here is an article from Penn State with general information about wooly adelgid.

I hope you are able to save your tree.
