Good morning, Alyssa!
Thank you for reaching out to Ask Extension about the issue you are having with spots on your tomato leaves. I have done some research and I believe what you are looking at is early blight also known as Alternaria leaf spot. It is caused by a fungus, but it is fixable! CSU Extension recommends removing any damaged leaves so that the fungus cannot spread. Also, make sure to water your plant at the base and not through the leaves. This prevents moisture from building up and causing more fungus damage. You can read more about this topic here. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to Ask Extension.
Happy Gardening!

Hello- I recently grew and transplanted my tomato starts. I've notice that the leaves have some spotting but I cannot identify the kind of spotting that aligns with most tomato diseases. There is no root rot but I am concerned about these plants lasting through the season and would like to replace as early as possible if needed. Could you help identify the issue and whether I should try to replace these plants? Thank you!
