I have a Presto Brushed Aluminum Pressure Cooker and Canner 23 qt. I would like to use a weighted gauge on it. Are there particular brands or are they all generic? I was looking at this one on amazon.

I would recommend you purchase the 3-part weighted directly from Presto. These cheaper weights are made in China and we have received complaints about them not working properly. This way you are sure they are made to work on your model of canner and will be accurate. Presto also guarantees that they work accurately. We have also found the gauges that are made in China often are not accurate when purchased.
You will love your how easy it is to can with the three-part weight. It is so easy to regulate once you use it. Be sure to use the giggle rather than the gauge when you are canning.
