Peach jelly with dried pepper flakes #870341

Can I sell peach or strawberry jelly with dried hot pepper flakes under the cottage food law? I would not be using fresh pepper pieces.

Hello,

A variation to a Jam or Jelly recipe is not allowed under Cottage Food Law.

Per an Inspector: It would not be allowed because the cottage food page states that it's got to be a "standard" jam or jelly based on 21 CFR 150.
