Hi, about a week ago something destroyed the plants in my garden. I deposited beneficial nematodes thinking it was a cut worm, waited 4 days and planted some starts that I got from a local greenhouse, 24 hours later and the same thing happened. Any ideas?

Hi Nicole:
Is your garden fenced? If you see no evidence of cutworm, it could be a larger pest. I'm thinking vole. They like to just chew off the stem, sometimes nibble leaves, and leave the rest. I'm going to attach an article that will give you more insight to various culprits and their clues. It includes both cutworm and vole, and many more! The second publication will give you more information than you ever wanted on the vole. The best is the pictures showing their tracks and holes. Once you see them, you'll realize they are everywhere up here!
What's eating my vegetables?
Voles
Thank you for your question,
