I ordered a weeping mulberry tree (Morus alba) after seeing the tree at the Gardens on Spring creek. I’m seeing a lot about them being invasive in other parts of the country, but are a recommended tree on the City of Fort Collins. I just want to be sure I’m not planting an invasive species. Thank you for your help!

Hi Rachael,
No, this tree has not been found to be invasive in Colorado's climate. We often don't have the invasive pressure like other parts of the country that have more moisture.
