Best source for native plants near me? #870148

I live in Ellicott City. I would like to plant some native groundcovers, blue sedge and some native shrubs as a screen. Where can I find the best selection?

It's great that you're adding native plants to your landscape! The Maryland Native Plant Society maintains a list and map that will show you the native plant nurseries closest to you. We cannot name/recommend specific business, but their list will point you in a good direction.

Also note upcoming native plant sales. The next for Howard County will be at Robinson Nature Center in September.
