Locust tree concern #870111

I have a locust tree that has little bubbles of sap on a main branch. I am not sure this is normal and how to treat it if not

Hello, 
thank you for your question. It looks like you didn't quite get an answer for your issue. It looks as though this may be a fairly common issue seen in honeylocust. There are not available treatments for the issue, but you can ensure you're giving good cultural care to the tree, watering effectively throughout the year and checking the root area for disturbance and exposure.
