Are you able to identify this bug? I can't find a picture that looks like it.
I have a large, organic, native plant garden, and I don't remember ever seeing this bug before. It is not eating every plant, but it is doing a lot of damage to my monkey flower, liatris spicata and black-eyed Susan plants. I think it is also damaging my yarrow, but the damage looks different on those plants. It eats enough of any given leaf that it ends up desiccating the leaf. (You can see the blackened leaf in the picture.)
