You can confirm here that the weed in your lawn is catchseed bedstraw. If you're able to pull or hoe the weed now, while it's small and before flowering (the plant has shallow roots), that would be a mechanical alternative to applying an herbicide.
Catchweed bedstraw is an annual broadleaf plant, so you should look for a postemergent selective herbicide for broadleaf plants. A postemergent is most effective when applied to the emerged weed in May or June.
When you find the granular herbicide appropriate for catchseed bedstraw, make sure to follow the application instructions. Most postemergent herbicides contain 2,4-D, which can become volatile (airborne) or leach and cause injury to other plants.
