Enviro ice / recycling option - plant food nitrogen based #869916

Asked May 24, 2024, 11:17 AM EDT

We receive the Enviro ice packs with monthly meds. A recycling option is to use as plant food since it’s nitrogen based. However it gives no real instructions. Is it really good for indoor and outdoor plants. Can it be used on edible plants too? I’m hesitant to use without real instructions. Any info you can share would be helpful. Thank you.

Hi- the company states that it can be used on vegetable plants. The specific ingredients are a trade secret (not listed on the MSDS).

Click "How Can You Use Enviro Ice as Plant Food" to see the fertilizer analysis and recommendations for mixing it with water to use as a fertilizer:

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Do you know anyone using these?  Just wondering the results.

Hi, we don't have direct experience using this product as a fertilizer and are unaware of any research-based information regarding its use.

We have had inquiries from other residents.
