Borrowing tools #869894

Asked May 24, 2024, 9:48 AM EDT

I am a beginning gardener / landscaper in Bend on a tight budget. Where do you suggest I go for: --rocks (pea gravel or larger) --pavers & landscape edging --tool exchange (aerator, edger) --leftover herbicides (for leaf-hopper / whiteflies) --mulch Thanks

Expert Response

Hi Julie,

Thank you for your question.  I can help provide gardening information but am not familiar with any businesses or programs that might provide left over herbicides or tool exchange.  I would check with  landscape supply stores to see what supplies they have in stock.  With regards to plant material, here is a list of the local nurseries:  https://extension.oregonstate.edu/sites/default/files/documents/9006/central-oregon-plant-resource-guide-23.pdf

Please reach out if you have further questions!
