Boxwood Shrubs #869874

Asked May 24, 2024, 6:57 AM EDT

Hello - we live in UA and have close to 30 boxwood shrubs in our front yard. Over the course of the last two years they have started to look increasingly unhealthy. The internal branches are sparse and while they do get new green growth in the spring, some of it quickly turns brown. We suspect there is some kind of fungal disease impacting them. Because we have so many, we wanted to explore the possibility of trying to treat them, but also wanted advice on whether it would be futile at this point. Happy to send photos as needed. Thanks!

Hi Ashley,
Thank you for your gardening question. Yes pictures would be great. There are many things happening to boxwoods these days. I am including some articles for you to read and use as you look at your boxwoods.
