Azalea plant leaves #869867

Asked May 24, 2024, 1:28 AM EDT

My azalea plant leaves are being eaten down to the rib.. The whole leaf is gone.. What could be doing this and how can I make it stop and prevent it from happening again? Home remedies and/or ,natural remedies would be wonderful... Thank you for your time...

Thank you for your question, Stephanie.  Without photos, we can only provide information about the most probable pest:  https://pnwhandbooks.org/insect/hort/landscape/hosts-pests-landscape-plants/azalea-rhododendron-azalea-sawfly

You'll need to do some sleuthing to find them on your plant.  If you discover something else, please photograph and send it back as an attachment.  Good luck!
