What is killing my pine trees? #869835

We lost two , this will be number three, starts dying at the top and slowly moves down . Attached picture of a healthy and a sick looking branch . Can any thing be done and can I save others near by ?

We have had several very hot and dry summers in  row. This weather pattern stresses trees ( all plants really) and makes them more vulnerable to disease and pests. Other than making sure your tree is mulched and getting regular water I don't know what else you can do. The good news is that so far this year the weather has been more "normal" and many trees are rebounding.

I would advise to replant with another variety of tree and not all of the same variety.
