Sorry for the delayed response! We were out of office for a while.

It looks like it could be a few different things. It could be winter damage but that is usually the tips of the tree. Are the leaves crispy? Are you noticing a different coloration or spotting on any of the leaves? What is the watering schedule? Is there any damage on that limb? 

If you could send a close up photo of the leaves and the stem of where the damage starts that would be helpful!
