Weed or perennial? #869509

Hi. can you tell me if this is a weed? I don’t believe I planted it but I’ve never seen anything like it before. Seems like strange things are happening in my garden this year. I think it’s kind of pretty – love the green and white foliage. I’ve included two photos. Thank you for your time.

It is one of the primroses, probably evening primrose. It will have yellow flowers. They can spread but are easy to keep in check.
