Maple Tree Diseased? #869507

Our maple tree has leaves that are turning dark and wilting. what is wrong?

Hi,

This tree doesn't look anything like any maple I've seen.  It's not a maple. The black spots look like a fungal issue. I'm at a loss here. I can't identify the tree which would help figure out what the problem is. Here is a link, scroll down and look at bacterial issues;

It is a tartarian maple tree.

Well, you taught me something. I'm not familiar with that tree but I see that it is on the DNR's list of "specially regulated" species.
