Controlling Creeping Charlie without using Round-Up #869486

Asked May 21, 2024, 3:09 PM EDT

Hello, Our lawn is about 40% Creeping Charlie and I would like to cut that back quite a bit. We have never wantesd to use Round-up or other strong herbicides so we basically just "live with it". I recently read an article about an iron-based herbicide that causes Creeping Charlie to take it up, greens it up, but then it dies off whlie not harming grass or our annual rabbit families. Do you know if this is a viable and available approach? Thanks!

Studies done at the University of Maryland show that it is effective but requires multiple timed applications.  See the website for details.
