What is happening with this plant, please. Does it need to be sprayed or removed?

Your plant is o.k. and does not need to be removed.
That is damage which is common on many plants this time of year, caused by the four-lined plant bug.

There is only one generation a year and the plants are easily able to continue to grow and outgrow the damage. You can pinch off the worst affected leaves if you like.
