I started a white Dutch clover lawn two years ago and it did not survive this winter in Ely. Should I try again or what is a better alternative

Hi,
Dutch white clover is hardy in your area but does better in sun than shade and needs to be protected from dog and kid traffic while it is getting established.
You could try again, making sure to water it if it is dry.
