Marsh Landscaping #868989

My house backs up on Marsh Lake Park in Bloomington. I'd like to start landscaping from the marsh towards the house, gradually reducing the grass monoculture that forms my yard now. The yard is about 1/2 acre with quite a long marsh border. Can you recommend any books or on-line resources that would be useful to me in planning how to develop landscaping consistent with the marsh and marsh grasses abutting my property? Thank you

I have found some links for you and most also include a resources section with more information. Chatting with a reference librarian at a public library would also be useful because they can find books for you to review. They can also access the UMN collection of books on shore land restoration.
