Hello Master Gardener,
I’m seeing a white powder like substance on my Nine Bark plants. What is it? Is it going to harm my plants? Is there anything I can do to rid the plants of this? I’ve cut out some of the affected leaves, but it’s quite pervasive.

It appears that you have powdery mildew on your nine bark. This won't harm your shrub. Our unusual weather conditions have given rise to conditions we don't often see.
