How best to move/replant vinca? #868932

Asked May 17, 2024, 4:28 PM EDT

Hello masters! We are about to build an accessibility ramp and sadly I need to move about 30 square feet of vinca plants. Any advice on how to do it so they thrive in their new location? What not to do? Thank you in advance!

Thank you for your question, Courtney.  In order to transplant them, you'll need to keep the roots as intact as possible, and make sure the soil around them stays moist.  The following is a helpful article about care of them to assure they survive: https://extension.umn.edu/flowers/vinca

Good luck!
