Right to Farm Act #868758

I was wondering how to find out if I am protected with this act for having chickens. My city doesn't allow chickens, but online I see the three things - Is it a “farm operation?” (defined in the act: MCL 286.472(b)) Is it producing “farm products?” (defined in the act: MCL 286.472(c)) Is it commercial? - So does this mean I essentially just need to start a business and I'm protected? Thank you for your help
