Judy,
Good question. Seed production on shrubs and trees tends to vary widely from year to year. In the case of your redbud, you definitely have an abundance of seeds this year.
As far as what to do, you have two basic options: (1) leave them on the tree and clean them up as they dry and fall to the ground in fall. or (2) you may hand pick the seeds if you feel they are unsightly. Most folks just leave the seeds on the tree and then rake them up as part of your fall cleanup.
There is a third option and that would be to let them dry on the tree and in the fall collect the seeds as they fall and start new seedlings. If that is what you want to do, here is a 'how to' from Iowa State University Extension on starting redbuds from seed: https://yardandgarden.extension.iastate.edu/faq/how-can-i-germinate-redbud-seeds#:~:text=Collect%20the%20pods%20on%20a%20redbud%20when%20the,the%20seeds%20in%20boiling%20water%20for%201%20minute.
I hope this answers your question and I wish you a very healthy and productive summer.
