Hello! Thanks for reaching out with this beekeeping question. You can put a honey super on them when they are occupying about 70-80% of their top brood boxes. If you're not sure when you'll next check the colonies, you can add a honey super now. This time of year, it's better to give the bees extra space for incoming nectar than to add boxes too late and have the colony get crowded.
