These small insects were all over my porch. I have never seen this insect before & could not find an ID for it. Hope you can ID it. Thanks

These are the larvae (juveniles) of ladybugs. They consume aphids and various other pest insects and are beneficial to have in the garden. While these specific larvae look like those of our non-native (but very widespread) ladybug species Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle, they are still useful as a natural form of pest control.
