I have two rose bushes taken from my late grandma's house several years ago. They have grown ok since being transplanted, but this year something seems to be wrong. The first rose, identified as Rose1, has some new growth but a majority of the plant does not. Unfortunately I do not know what type of rose bushes they are since they came from my grandma.

Hi Monica,
Unfortunately, I suspect that your roses may be infected with rose rosette disease. Please read through the attached article related to this disease to see other symptoms. If it is rose rosette, the bushes should be removed and destroyed so it doesn't spread to other roses in your garden.
