I can't tell if this is onion or garlic. I had both in the garden... neither produced. Winter came they died off. End of winter into spring 2024 these two started to pop up. They kept growing to the frost . Now look at them May 2024. I pulled both from the garden just to see if I could tell and the bulb the smaller a golf ball but not much.

Garlic leaves are flat and onion leaves are round and hollow.
