Perennial part shade plant under maple tree #868237

Is there a good plant, preferably fruit bearing, that would thrive under the shade of a maple tree? It would get a little morning sun, and dappled afternoon sun, but would be in the shad of a fence in the evening. I am not interested in rhubarb. Do you think raspberries, wild blueberries, or black berries would work? If so, any care instructions for me?

According to the Grow & Give article written by CSU there are many fruit bearing shrubs that can be grown in Colorado. However, most fruit bearing shrubs need full sun to thrive and produce fruit. Here is a link to the article that includes links to specific berry shrubs: https://growgive.extension.colostate.edu/grow/fruit-crops/
The specific articles lists the conditions for planting and care of the berry shrubs.
If you decide that the growing conditions won't work for the berry bushes you might want to try a ground cover. CSU has a Fact Sheet on ground covers that might help you. Here is a link to the Fact Sheet: https://extension.colostate.edu/docs/pubs/garden/07400.pdf
The list of part shade/shade groundcovers is at the end of the Fact Sheet.
