I am looking for fertilizers for our perennial garden. Recommended fertilizers are 22-0-22, 12-0-12 or 3-0-3. I'm realizing you cannot buy fertilizers that specific. I have found several that are similar but saw for lawn. Would it matter if I used a lawn fertilizer on a flower garden?

Hi Jody
Yes, you can use a lawn fertilizer on the garden IF IT HAS NO WEED KILLERS.
Excuse the capitals, but it is very important that the lawn fertilizer has nothing else, just fertilizer in it.
Weed killers will kill your flowers and other plants.
And, yes you can just come close to what was recommended. Plug the numbers from the label of the product you buy into the Calculator on your soil test results website(it’s under the Tools Tab). That calculator will tell you how much product to apply based on those numbers.
