I have a plastic planter that seems be decomposed , possibly by a fungus . I have not seen this before. Is anyone interested in this?

If I understand your question correctly you're asking whether anyone at OSU is conducting research in the biodegradation of plastics, is that correct?
While it seems unlikely that a fungus would be capable of this under the circumstances in the photo, I have reached out to a couple of individuals at OSU - I would hate to send you on your way when you could be holding a solution to significant environmental problem.
