What is the best environment for a quail after it hatches. I have quail hatching in a classroom. I need tips on bedding/housing newly hatched quail in a classroom.

Depends on the type of quail - bobwhite or Coturnix/Japanese - for final disposition.

Pine shavings are the best bedding.
Depending on the number of birds, a large plastic bin can be used to house the chicks (with a screen for cover). It should be clear plastic so that the kids can see through it.
