growing potatoes #867808

Can yo grow potatoes in straw as I've seen suggested online? I have a lot of straw leftover from overwintering strawberries and would like to try the method if there is any validity to it. Can you walk me through the set up? Thank you.

I put in the link and when it came up in the search magnifying glass I put in growing potatoes in straw and it brought me to two articles, one which was entitled growing potatoes in straw.

You can also just google growing potatoes in straw.  I found several entries for growing potatoes in straw bales.
