Now that the hyacinths are done blooming, can I cut the stems down? Also can I cut the leaves back or let them die back naturally?

Now that the hyacinths are done blooming, can I cut the stems down? Also can I cut the leaves back or let them die back naturally?

Hyacinth are cold hardy bulbs. When blooms are spent you can cut them off. Leave the leaves on until they have browned and withered. The leaves are how the bulbs get energy/nutrients into them to bloom next year.
