What are the sticky seeds that are all over my deck, patio, lawn & driveway and stick to my shoes, my feet, the dog's paws? They are hard to remove, need to be picked off by hand from my rugs.

There are a number of trees such as Cottonwood, Birch, Catalpa and Kentucky Coffee tree with sticky seed pods. We would need more information to correctly identify the tree and seed pod. These are most likely cottonwood seeds. Compare what you are seeing with the following website.
