In new development and will be getting new sod soon. My neighbor has been here for a number of years and his yard is chuck full of quackgrass. How do I insure I don't get quackgrass laced sod and if I do, how do I treat it? Thank you!

You new sod should not come full of quack grass.
If your next door neighbor doesn’t control his lawn weeds, you will eventually have them too. Quack grass spread through underground rhizomes so it is difficult to control.
The best defense against weeds is a full thick lawn to crowd them out.
