Mugwort is taking over and nothing I've done in past years is making a difference. Each year I do what I can to weed and the mugwort returns and takes of the yard. I have a native plant yard and the mugwort has crowded out so much. I'm

I am sorry to report that you indeed due have a difficult weed to control.  The first link I am sending you is from the Ohio Weed Guide.  It is a good idea to know how it grows when trying to control it.

The other two websites deal with control.  Of course you can continue to pull and dig it out, but that is very labor intensive and will not likely eradicate it.  Even using herbicides may take awhile to remove the troublesome plant.  Here are two links to aid in your efforts. Remember to follow all herbicide instructions and warnings if you choose a chemical control.
