Thanks for contacting us!
From your photos we believe you are dealing with Tall Fescue (Schedonorus arundinaceus). This plant is used as a lawn grass in some areas with cooler weather than we experience in southeast Texas.
Most likely it will fade as our heat arrives in full force but if not you can kill it with glyphosate (RoundUp) but be careful as this herbicide will also kill pretty much everything else you spray it on.
