Tractor supply sold me a sick chick. She has been sneezing the last couple of days. I cannot afford the expensive charge from a vet to get any medication. So I am wondering do these things clear up on their own like us it has to run its course or is meds the only way to fix it? Has anyone used natural things that cleared it up and what can I use. It seems respiratory. She is still active and eating but was less a few days ago. Any help would be appreciated. I have cleaned to make sure no particles of the crumbles is getting into her nose. I am using Hydro-Hen in the water.

Treatment depends on the cause which requires a necropsy. I know that is not possible.
Sneezing can be a symptom from many different issues.
They recommend a probiotic and licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) root extract where to get this and how much to give to baby chicken 17 days old I give Hydro-Hen which has 3 in 1 probiotic. its licorice you recommend how much to give and where and what to buy?

The link I included was poultrydvm.com explaining how licorice extract can be used. You can also try a health food store. The use would depend on the product. Because the chick is so tiny just a little bit is required. If you get the powder, sprinkle a little on the food. If liquid could do the same or put a drop or two in a little water if they are not eating. It is not a prescription just something to try. Start with a small dose and increase a little as needed.
