Are Hogweed and Queen Ann Lace the same or related?

Thank you for using Ask Extension.

Hogweed and Queen Anne's Lace are related but not the same. both are in the carrot family.

Hogweed is a dangerous invasive but it much larger than Queen Anne's Lace.  I found this brochure to help identify and report it.
