Potato problem #867205

My potato plants are showing, but the leaves are black, and I'm not sure if this is a major problem. What to do?

Thank you for your question. Potatoes have 42 known diseases here in the PNW, and we can't diagnose which yours have without photos. Perhaps this guide to growing them may provide some clues: https://extension.oregonstate.edu/gardening/techniques/grow-your-own-potatoes
