When digging up dead grass area to reseed we found some grubs. We have reseeded. This is May. What is the best thing and time to do something. There wasn't a big infestation, but enough tpobe a concern.

It is often best to put down grub preventers from April through mid-July when grubs are ready to hatch. If you want to stop grub damage right away, the best time to apply a grub killer to your lawn is when you first see signs of damage.

I can’t suggest any brand to you.  Check at a reputable garden center.  Also check for damage to newly seeded lawns before applying.
