Newbie to the Arborvitae #867058

I’ve never owned or planted an Arborvitae before, so I don’t know which one would be the better choice: Emerald Green or North Pole? Are they both hardy for our area, are they low maintenance, do they get pests frequently, and is partial sun enough?

Hello Dianne,

Both of these arborvitae will do well in your area. Emerald green require full sun only in while the North Pole variety can tolerate full sun or partial shade.
