How do I combat powdery mildew from starting on my zucchini plants

The best ways to keep powdery mildew away from your zucchini:
- Plant in full sun
- Don't crowd plants together; plant them so that there is good air circulation
- Water with drip irrigation or soaker hose (do NOT overhead spray as that could spread spores from the soil to the leaves
- Consider spraying plants with neem oil or biological fungicide like Serenade on a regular basis as a preventative.
If you choose to use neem oil or Serenade, follow all label instructions.
