We lost a big fir tree in the last wind storm in Boulder, as it fell it bent an aspen tree.
The fir is gone, can I pull the aspen straight? It doesn't appear t be damaged.
Appreciate any thought and suggestions

Hello,
Your aspen is of a larger diameter tree, that I don't know if it will bend backwards. If you are able to bend it back, it'll most likely need staked to hold it back into place. My worry is that it may not look damaged but the compression it had when it bent on that angle, it actually damaged the interior of the tree. You can definitely try to bend it back, but I don't think it will be easy and it probably won't be completely straight if it survives.
