Insect identification #866833

Asked May 02, 2024, 8:23 PM EDT

I found the insect inside my home. It is not much larger than a sesame seed and is very flat. I reside in a rural area surrounded by grassland and woodlot. No others detected at this time.

Neat find!!!
This is a pseudoscorpion, which normally lives beneath leaf litter or bark. They are related to spiders and pose no risk to you or other humans.
