Grubs & Sand Hill Cranes #866721

Last fall the Sand Hill Cranes attacked my lawn. I believe they were eating . When should I put down Grub Control?

Yes, Sandhill Cranes do eat grubs, but they do eat a lot of other things.  Before using any grub control product, check to be sure that you have grubs.  Depending on the active ingredient in the grub control, there are different times for effective application.  The following link will give you the information for timing for several products:

Sandhill Cranes can be a nuisance, they feed on many things including insects, reptiles, crustaceans, berries, small mammals, crustaceans, et al. They also eat plant material. Check out the following link for ways to discourage these hungry birds:
