White Clover Lawn? #865817

Hello, I am trying to encourage some greenery to grow in my current dirt pit of a backyard. I have tried grass the last couple summers and it hasn't taken off. So, with the encouragement of removing grass lawns in favor of more climate and pollinator friendly options, I was wondering what the rules are regarding white clover lawns in Oregon. As it seems to be a viable option. Thank you

Hi Caitlyn,  I am not aware of any clovers being considered noxious weeds according the Oregon Department of Agriculture but OSU is not a regulatory agency.  Many of the Eco-Lawn mixes haven't been formulated for the Central Oregon region but here is one that may be suitable:
